Can the Lillipad be a Floor Sitting Desk?
Yes! Lillipad has the widest height adjustment range of any electric desk—ever.
All Lillipads can lower down to just 6" for easy storage. Suggested working height ranges by model (including tabletop):

How stable & sturdy is the Lillipad?

Will my legs interfere with the Lillipad crossbars?
Unless you're over 6'7", you will not need to worry about your legs touching the crossbars. During product design, we conducted numerous ergonomic tests to ensure maximum comfort for users of all heights. Whether seated with legs positioned at 90 degrees or fully extended, there is plenty of room for clearance without interference. Our Co-Founders stand tall at 6'4" and 6'6", so you can trust we've got the tall folks covered!
Can the wheels roll on carpet?
You bet! All 4 wheels enable for effortless transportation on any floor surface, even the thickest of carpets. It’s super easy to roll like a hand-truck or push like a shopping cart.

I looked at lots of different standing desks and standing desk adapters for regular desks - I could make do with many of them and appreciated their various philosophies. I eventually realized that the mobility of the desk itself was important for my lifestyle in a small house where we want to maximize the utility of each space while maintaining some flexibility. The Lillipad does this and does it well! I hadn't even considered that I might want a desk that can be used sitting on the floor, but I use that floor height while sitting on yoga blocks as often as I do standing at full height! It is heavy, but I haven't had any trouble collapsing it and rolling it behind other furniture or into different rooms. I wouldn't say it is "portable" but it is certainly mobile when needed. I use it with a laptop, bluetooth accessories, and portable monitor, which is already a fairly flexible set-up to disassemble, so I can't speak to anyone wanting to create something a little more permanent, but I think that this is a great desk for my use case. I got the standard size with the cable management, and it certainly looks very clean underneath when fully extended.
I am really enjoying my desk. I can now easily work in a variety of positions throughout the day; floor, sit, stand and back again. The desk is sturdy and large enough for 2 monitors, yet small enough to fit through the doorway if I want to work in another room. The integrated power strip and under desk netting are keeping my cords off the floor and out of the way of the legs/wheels. Shipping was quick and the desk arrived in perfect condition. It was easy to set up. I wish I had bought it sooner.

This desk is very well designed and is incredibly convenient. Being able to breakdown and store in minutes really helps if you do not have a ton of space. If you do, splurge on the bigger size because it is absolutely worth it.

The desk was up in no time and it is everything I wanted. It is sturdy, it goes up and down easily. You can memorize 2 different heights. I was happily surprised by the convenient power strip and USB outlets. Working from home in a small space it was very important for me, to get the comfort of a standing desk but be able to make it disappear during the weekend! And it is made in the U.S. Thank you!
